“The Walking Dead” bate recordes de audiência na televisão e também está em destaque nas redes sociais.
A série de walkers lidera a lista das séries mais mencionadas no Twitter em 2014. Segundo um ranking da Nielsen, a série do AMC conseguiu arrecadar cerca de 576 mil tweets por episódio, ficando The Walking Dead com o primeiro lugar do pódio que no ano passado pertenceu a “Breaking Bad“. Em 2013 a série apocalíptica conseguiu o segundo lugar, atrás da trama de Bryan Cranston e Aaron Paul.
A The Walking Dead seguem-se na lista “The Bachelor”, com uma média de 4 milhões de espectadores e 215 mil tweets por episódio e “Pretty Little Liars”, com uma franja de audiência um pouco menor mas com um número de tweets muito superior – 489 mil/episódio.
