Cena cortada de Doutor Estranho revela origem da cicatriz de Kaecilius
Kaecilius e os seus seguidores invocam Dormammu numa cena que não chegou à versão final de Doutor Estranho.
Doutor Estranho chegou aos cinemas portugueses em outubro de 2016 e já fez 660 milhões de dólares em receitas de bilheteira a nível internacional. Ao exceder as expectativas, o seu sucesso provou que as pessoas estão mais do que preparadas para ver o lado alternativo do Universo da Marvel.
Foi não só um êxito comercial, como também alvo de inúmeras opiniões positivas entre os fãs e os críticos, fazendo Doutor Estranho mais um sucesso da Marvel estando até nomeado a um Óscar.
Não ficando por aqui, Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) marcará presença na sequela Thor: Ragnarok em 2017 e também em Avengers: Infinity War em 2018.

Graças à EW, podemos agora ver uma cena cortada de Doutor Estranho, que nunca chegou à versão final que vimos nos cinemas, com o título “Nervous Zealot”. E para nos esclarecer sobre o assunto, o realizador Scott Derrickson explica-nos o porquê de algumas cenas terem ficado para trás:
“I really liked those scenes and I think everyone did a good job on them, but they weren’t hard to cut. We tested the movie with and without them. It wasn’t just about the audience’s reaction, it was really how the movie felt. Pauline Kael used to always talk about the director needing to know where the audience wants to be, and at that point of the movie, the audience didn’t want to be jumping around, they wanted to stay with Strange, who’s on this very interesting, very personal, and very dramatic journey. The intrusion of those scenes was breaking up the soul of the movie in a way that just wasn’t necessary. We didn’t need it. When we removed them, we found that we lost very little, and we gained more power in the major arc of the character. So, it was a pretty easy choice in the end.”
