Critics’ Choice TV Awards | Os Vencedores

 

A award season da televisão norte-americana arrancou esta madrugada com a cerimónia anual dos Critics’ Choice Television Awards 2014.

“Orange is the New Black” foi a grande vencedora da noite, levando consigo três estatuetas importantes. A comédia dramática do Netflix foi eleita pelos críticos de televisão a Melhor Comédia e foi-lhe atribuído o prémio de Melhor Atriz Secundária em Comédia em simultâneo com o de Melhor Participação Especial em Comédia, pelo desempenho de Kate Mulgrew e Uzo Aduba.

Matthew McConaughey e Tatiana Maslany arrecadaram os prémios de melhor ator/atriz dramáticos por “True Detective” e “Orphan Black”, respetivamente. Allison Janney ganhou duas estatuetas pelo seu desempenho em “Mom” e “Masters of Sex”.

Também a competição entre “Fargo” (FX) e “The Normal Heart” (HBO) demonstrou estar cada vez mais acesa, com ambas as produções a arrecadarem prémios em categorias importantes na cerimónia. Já a vitória de McConaughey como Melhor Ator em Drama (“True Detective”) e a de “Breaking Bad” na categoria de melhor série dramática vem deixar-nos mais expectantes quanto o desfecho dos Emmy no que toca a ambas as séries.

O evento apresentado por Cedric the Entertainer, premeou as escolhas dos críticos de televisão norte-americanos e foi transmitido pela CW.
