MTV Video Music Awards 2017: Todos os nomeados e atuações da cerimónia
A MTV volta a premiar os melhores videoclips do ano já no final do mês de agosto. A edição deste ano traz novidades nas categorias.
Kendrick Lamar é a principal figura da edição deste ano dos MTV VMA. O rapper norte-americano, que lançou o seu quarto álbum “DAMN.” em abril, concorre em oito categorias, incluindo vídeo do ano e artista do ano. O videoclip do primeiro single “HUMBLE.” disputa ainda em melhor vídeo de hip hop, fotografia, realização, direção de arte, efeitos visuais e coreografia.
De seguida, Katy Perry e The Weeknd são os artistas com mais nomeações: cinco cada. Contudo o cantor canadense está presente nas duas categorias principais — vídeo e artista do ano —, enquanto Katy se destaca nas categorias técnicas.
A edição 2017 dos MTV VMA marca a anulação da divisão por géneros. É a primeira cerimónia em que não existirá as categorias de melhor vídeo de artista feminina e melhor vídeo de artista masculino: apenas uma categoria com melhor vídeo e clip do ano.
O evento estreia ainda uma nova categoria designada “melhor luta contra o sistema”, para destacar os videoclipes que inspirem os espectadores a se manifestarem contra injustiças.

Além disso também já são conhecidos os artistas que irão atuar nos MTV VMA. Thirty Seconds To Mars, The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony e Kendrick Lamar são alguns dos artistas que irão subir ao palco da cerimónia, que será apresentada por Katy Perry.
Os MTV VMA decorrem a 27 de agosto, a partir das 21h.
