Óscares 2015 | Birdman e The Grand Budapest Hotel lideram as nomeações

 

A Academia deu a conhecer os nomeados aos Óscares 2015 numa pequena apresentação conduzida por Chris Pine, J.J. Abrams, Alfonso Cuarón e Cheryl Boone Isaacs, presidente da Academia.

Os nomeados aos Óscares 2015 foram hoje conhecidos através de um evento em direto que anunciou, pela primeira vez, todos os indicados nas 24 categorias de uma vez só.

“Birdman” e “The Grand Budapest Hotel” lideram com nove nomeações. Seguem-se “The Imitation Game” com oito e “Boyhood” e “American Sniper” (que confirma um certo favoritismo de última hora, à semelhança do filme de Wes Anderson) com seis.

Para Melhor Filme foram nomeadas oito obras, em vez de nove como havia sido hábito nos últimos anos. Falham a nomeação “Foxcatcher” (que, curiosamente, consegue ser nomeado para Melhor Realização), “Gone Girl” e “Nightcrawler” (Jake Gyllenhaal também não consegue o lugar para Melhor Ator).

Para as categorias de realização, Ava DuVernay não consegue uma nomeação histórica por “Selma”, mas o seu filme conseguiu entrar na categoria de Melhor Filme (ainda assim, parece existir um certo ‘desprezo’ da Academia por “Selma”, já que David Oyelowo também não está em Melhor Ator). Quem também ficou de fora foi David Fincher, Clint Eastwood ou Damien Chazelle por, respetivamente, “Gone Girl”, “American Sniper” e “Whiplash”.

Nas categorias de atores, destaque apenas para as inclusões de Bradley Cooper (que consegue 3 nomeações em anos consecutivos), Laura Dern e Marion Cotillard.

A maior surpresa foi talvez a não-nomeação de “The LEGO Movie” para Melhor Filme de Animação.

A cerimónia, apresentada por Neil Patrick Harris, tem data marcada para 22 de fevereiro.
