Falar de David Bowie é falar de um homem, o homem, que mudou o mundo. A sua carreira emergiu em 1967, sem grande sucesso, apesar da sua estreia incluir canções excelentes como “London Boys”, “Silly Boy Blue” ou “The Gospel According To Tony Day”. Contudo, David Bowie só se afirmou plenamente como artista com a edição de “Space Oddity”, cujo single entrou para o Top 10 britânico em Setembro de 1969. Estas datas não devem ser ignoradas pois entre elas existe outra data de referência a ter em conta: Maio de 1968.
É possível que o novo disco de Bowie, “Lazarus”, seja afinal uma ressureição – tal como a do Lázaro bíblico – e tenhamos de volta entre nós o Bowie genial e transgressivo, que por vezes desaparecia e não voltava a aparecer, e que assim este seu ultimo disco faça jus ao seu génio e importância histórica.
