A Favorita lidera nomeações aos Critics Choice Awards 2019

“A Favorita” e “Black Panther” são os favoritos na corrida aos Critics Choice Awards 2019. “The Americans” e “Versace” lideram em televisão.

Foram finalmente revelados os nomeados aos Critics Choice Awards, e “A Favorita” de Yorgos Lanthimos lidera a corrida aos prémios da crítica com 14 nomeações, incluindo Melhor Filme, Melhor Elenco e Melhor Realizador.

Olivia Colman foi também nomeada para Melhor Atriz, enquanto que Emma Stone e Rachel Weisz foram nomeadas para Melhor Atriz Secundária. Deborah Davis e Tony McNamara estão na corrida a Melhor Argumento Original.

Surpreendentemente, “Black Panther” conseguiu ser o segundo filme mais nomeado, com 12 nomeações. Melhor Filme, Melhor Elenco, Melhor Argumento Adaptado são algumas das nomeações. Michael B. Jordan, por sua vez, está nomeado para Melhor Ator Secundário.

“O Primeiro Homem na Lua”, de Damien Chazelle até agora um pouco esquecido nos restantes prémios das associações de críticos, conseguiu 10 nomeações. Já “O Regresso de Mary Poppins”, “Assim Nasce Uma Estrela” e “Vice” conseguiram 7 nomeações cada um. “Roma”, vencedor do prémio de Melhor Filme pela L.A. Film Critics Association no passado domingo 9 de dezembro, concorre a 8 galardões. “Green Book” segue com 7.

Vários são os nomeados que poderão levar para casa mais do que uma estatueta. Bradley Cooper concorre a três Critics Choice Awards, Spike Lee e Adam McKay ambos estão nomeados para dois. No entanto, são as nomeados de Alfonso Cuarón aqueles que mais surpreendem. Pelo seu trabalho em “Roma”, Alfonso Cuaron está nomeado para Melhor Realizador, Melhor Argumento Original, Melhor Fotografia e Melhor Montagem. Veremos se com este filme da Netflix o cineasta mexicano consegue romper algumas barreiras cinematográficas e deixar o seu contributo e marco histórico para a distribuidora.

“Roma” chega à Netflix no próximo dia 14 de dezembro, mas o Cinema Ideal vai ter exibições especiais do filme em sala. Dos nomeados, “If Beale Street Could Talk”, “Can You Ever Forgive Me” e o próprio filme mais nomeado “A Favorita” ainda não têm data de estreia anunciada para Portugal.

Até ao momento os prémios atribuídos “Roma” é quase unanimemente aplaudido como Melhor Filme e Alfonso Cuarón como o Melhor Realizador. Toni Colette, Ethan Hawke, Richard E. Grant e Regina King são os intérpretes favoritos da crítica até ao momento. A ver vamos se se também firmes até aos Óscares, mas tudo obviamente pode acontecer, por ainda estarmos em dezembro.
