Satellite Awards 2021 | Mank lidera nomeações, mas falha Melhor Filme

Foram anunciados os nomeados à 25ª edição dos Satellite Awards com “Mank”, de David Fincher na corrida a 11 nomeações.

O mês de fevereiro continua com a Awards Season 2020/2021. A Academia de Imprensa Internacional dos Estados Unidos da América revelou os seus nomeados aos melhores filmes e séries do ano. A 25ª edição dos Satellite Awards acontece a 15 de fevereiro, apesar do confinamento e das dificuldades atravessadas mundialmente por membros das indústrias cinematográfica e televisiva.

Mank cada vez mais forte na corrida aos Óscares

“Mank” produzido e distribuído pela Netflix lidera a corrida em 11 categorias, contudo falhou inesperadamente a corrida a Melhor Filme. Encontrado nomeado a Melhor Realizador, Melhor Ator Drama para Gary Oldman e Melhor Atriz Secundária para Amanda Seyfried. O novo filme de David Fincher está a ser aclamado por diferentes meios de comunicação norte-americanos, integrou a lista dos 10 melhores de 2020 da Magazine.HD e recebeu também o prémio do American Film Institute. Em contrapartida encontram-se fortes candidatos aos Óscares na corrida ao prémio principal como “Nomadland – Sobreviver na América” e “Minari”.

Nas categorias de televisão “The Crown” da Netflix lidera a corrida com 6 nomeações e é seguida por “The Undoing” da HBO, com 5 nomeações.
