Gotham Awards 2022 | Os primeiros nomeados da Awards Season
Com cerimónia para 28 de novembro, os Gotham Awards marcam o arranque da Awards Season e já se conhece a lista oficial de nomeados. Descobre os favoritos.
Foi na passada semana que o Gotham Film & Media Institute lançou a lista oficial dos nomeados aos Gotham Awards 2022. A cerimónia voltará a acontecer no icónico restaurante Cipriani Wall Street, em Nova Iorque e irá consagrar os vencedores de categorias dentro do cinema e da televisão.
Dando continuidade ao novo esquema de categorias lançado no ano passado, os Gotham Awards voltam a não contar com distinção de género para a cerimónia de 2022. Os atores e atrizes nomeados voltam a estar todos na mesma categoria de interpretação, estando esta apenas dividida entre papéis principais e secundários.
Os Gotham Awards dão assim uma vez mais o mote para o arranque oficial da temporada de prémios destinados aos favoritos do mundo da sétima arte e começam a anunciar os favoritos deste último ano. “Tár” está claramente na frente, com 5 nomeações, incluindo uma nomeação para Melhor Intérprete para Cate Blanchett.
Na cerimónia, além dos vencedores, o Instituto irá ainda consagrar Adam Sandler. O ator receberá o Prémio Tributo pela sua carreira na comédia, além da sua já impressionante filmografia; apesar de ser mais conhecido por títulos como “Billy Madison, “Happy Madison” ou “The Waterboy”, nos anos mais recentes destacou-se junto da crítica por papéis mais sérios, como “The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)” e “Uncut Gems”. Michelle Williams, que irá aparecer brevemente nos cinemas com “The Fabelmans”, será também galardoada nos Gotham Awards com um prémio de Tributo de Interpretação.
